Good bye 2009!

I am so happy we are done with this year! The good news is that if you are thinking about real estate, prices should remain low for quite some time and hopefully the lowest mortgage rates in years will be easier to obtain!

There is great inventory in the Vail Valley and now is a great time to buy real estate! Vail and Beaver Creek has some incredible deals with pricing as low as what was available in the early 2000s.

Real estate loans are available

As we move deeper into 2009, and we are just days away from the inauguration. I have spoken with a variety of lenders. Rates are the lowest in many years and I do not expect to see much of an increase if any for quite some time. Simply put, now is the time to buy. construction costs are down and even though some sellers may not have figured it out yet, we have seen many price reductions in our market and sellers will look at much deeper offers. It may take a few homes to get it, but they are coming around slowly. At least in the Vail Valley, real estate may never be lower and now is a great time to make offers.
